Anyone else noticing a lot of lag/errors in recent days?

I ran an outside speed test on the site and the results were really bad.

Wheylous hasn't been here since June; is someone else doing routine maintenance or is the ship drifting?

As Walter Block has put it in a recent article: this problem, like any others, was caused by the State! The questions that remains is how such sabotage operation was conducted!

We need a thread about the "scam scam."

Or maybe we need a thread about the "'scam scam' scam."

In all seriousness though, if Wheylous has gone AWOL, and no one's maintaining this site, we have a minor problem.

If anyone knows how to contact him, perhaps you should do so, and see what's up.

Meh, I can email him but it's done this before and doesn't seem to me to be at emergency status.

It's not a big deal in itself.

It's just that it made me realize Wheylous has been gone for a long time, and - I assume - only he has admin access, in case of real problems.

But that doesn't make any sense because this forum, just like mises.org, is a Russian front who's mission it is to get Donald Trump election. Btw, congrats, you guys! We did it!

HAHA is so funny! <pours wohdka all around>

So, a drunk Russian walks into a bar. That's the whole joke. Right now, he's sprawled out on the snow because he just walked into a bar.

A few goods ones from here:

So three conspiracy theorists walk into a bar. Do you think it's a coincidence?

So three moon-landing deniers walk into a bar. But it could have been a secret studio in Texas fitted out to look like it's a bar.

So three post-structuralists walk into a bar. It's impossible to articulate what happened to them individually in one coherent punchline.

So three EU commissioners walk into a bar. The punchline is utterly incomprehensible but available in 24 languages.

So three French thinkers walk into a bar. But they refuse to continue the joke because the format represents Anglo-Saxon cultural hegemony.

So Marx, Lenin and Trotsky walk into a bar. Marx argues the punchline is inevitable. Lenin has a five-year plan. Trotsky flirts with a woman. Later, Stalin orders Trotsky removed from the original joke and inserts himself instead. Decrees punchlines are a bourgeois indulgence.

So three post-modernists walk into a bar. There are several competing punchlines that problematize a neat resolution.

So three Iranian presidential candidates walk into a bar. We're waiting for the Supreme Leader to issue the punchline.

Lol
"So 3 Spanish [soccer] players walk into a bar. Alonso passes a beer to Iniesta, who passes it to Silva. Silva passes it back. This may take a while."
